APsaA’s 2019 National Meeting is the Association’s largest event of the year bringing together more than 1,800 attendees from around the world and delivering six full days of psychoanalytic programming with more than 150 unique sessions to consider. The meeting also provides numerous opportunities to meet and network with colleagues from around the country. The National Meeting offers stimulating content for mental health professionals, educators, researchers and students who are curious about psychoanalysis. A variety of registration fees are available including single day and Sunday only. Be sure to register by January 8 to take advantage of special discounts on hotel and meeting registration.

Mrs. Brenman Pick, a leading Contemporary Kleinian Analyst from London will present her paper: “The Faces of Trauma: Between the Personal and the Social – The ‘Pleasure’ of Passing on the Bad Treatment.” There will be an opportunity for questions from the audience.

Participants in this event will include Dr. Francis Baudry, who will moderate the event and Mr. Nasir Ilahi, who will provide some overall comments on the paper.
